BRAND SPOTLIGHT - Blooming Lovely Botanics

Welcome to the Incicellar Indie Spotlight

At Incicellar, we love more than just sourcing unique ingredients. We are here to celebrate the indie brands and formulators who bring them to life. Our Indie Spotlight series shines a light on the creativity and innovation in our community, giving founders the space to share their stories, values, and formulations.

This week, we are excited to feature Blooming Lovely Botanics, a brand that celebrates the power of plants while keeping sustainability at its core.

Introducing Lu at Blooming Lovely Botanics

Lu, the founder of Blooming Lovely Botanics, creates natural, sustainable skincare that is kind to both skin and planet. Each product is thoughtfully crafted with botanical extracts and eco-friendly values, blending luxury with responsibility.

Her formulations are a testament to how small batch skincare can be both effective and ethical, proving that beauty and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Why Lu Loves Our Upcycled Coffee

For Lu, it is not just about performance. It is about purpose. She explains:

“I chose to use the upcycled coffee oil in my Velvet Coffee under eye serum because there’s so much waste in the beauty industry and I feel that making small changes can make a difference.
The upcycled coffee oil not only smells incredible but also boasts some amazing benefits such as reducing dark circles and puffy eyes along with skin tightening and brightening.”

Let’s Talk Ingredients

Lu’s Velvet Coffee Under Eye Serum is a luxurious, nutrient rich blend designed to hydrate and awaken the delicate skin around your eyes. At the heart of this formula is Upcycled Coffee Oil, which works to brighten, tighten, and refresh tired eyes, while supporting a more sustainable beauty industry.

It is a perfect example of how indie brands can use upcycled ingredients to create innovative skincare that is both results driven and planet kind.

If You’re a Skincare Lover

If you are not a formulator but a skincare lover looking for a new product, then you will not be disappointed. This is a gorgeous formula and having used it myself I can say it works beautifully. The scent, with its soft touch of vanilla, makes the ritual even more indulgent.

About the product

Blooming Lovely Botanics Velvet Coffee Eye Serum is a luxurious, nutrient rich formula designed to awaken and moisturise the delicate skin around your eyes. Powered by a blend of nature’s finest oils, this serum combines the revitalising properties of cacay oil, cucumber oil, argan oil, upcycled coffee oil, vanilla infused sunflower oil, and olive squalane to deliver deep moisture and targeted care.

"Cacay oil is known for its high levels of retinol and essential fatty acids, helping to smooth fine lines and improve skin texture. Cucumber oil brings cooling hydration, reducing puffiness and soothing tired skin, while argan oil provides rich antioxidants to protect and nourish. Upcycled coffee oil, with its energising caffeine content, helps to brighten the under eye area and reduce dark circles, while offering a sustainable alternative. The addition of vanilla infused sunflower oil imparts a gentle, calming aroma along with skin softening properties. Finally, olive squalane locks in moisture, leaving the skin feeling soft, supple, and refreshed."

"Together, these ingredients work in synergy to provide an indulgent, age defying treatment for tired eyes, offering immediate relief from puffiness and a brighter, more youthful appearance with every use."

Want to Formulate With It Yourself

At Incicellar, we offer a full range of upcycled coffee ingredients sourced from Caffe Inc. in the Netherlands, including oils, extracts, and powders. Very soon we will also expand with the surfactant and the booster oil for even more sustainable formulation possibilities.

Bring the benefits of coffee into your own creations and join the movement towards small changes that make a big difference.
