Cornflower Extract (Centaurea cyanus) is a water-soluble botanical extract made from UK-grown cornflower flowers, carefully extracted into a palm free glycerin and water base.

WHAT IS CORNFLOWER KNOWN FOR?

Cornflower has a long history as a traditional botanical, particularly in herbal preparations.

Its flowers contain naturally occurring anthocyanins and other flavonoid compounds, which contribute to the characteristic colours found in the plant.

FORMULATION NOTES

The extract has a pale pink appearance, which should be taken into consideration when formulating.
