The Edelweiss plant is rich in phytochemicals such as chlorogenic acid, luteolin, bisabolane derivatives, and beta-sitosterol, renowned for their antioxidant, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory benefits. Edelweiss Extract, standardised to contain 0.23% polyphenolic compounds, offers soothing, anti-inflammatory effects along with strong antioxidant and free radical-scavenging properties. This extract is ideal for anti-ageing formulations, including eye wrinkle and anti-wrinkle products, sun care, and antioxidant skincare treatments. It helps improve the appearance of aged or irritated skin when added to cosmetic and skincare formulations.
