Kakadu plum is recognised as one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C, containing levels significantly higher than many other fruits. In addition to ascorbic acid, it provides polyphenols and other phytonutrients, widely studied for their antioxidant activity. These qualities make Kakadu plum a valuable botanical extract for modern skincare formulations.
Liquorice root contains a range of naturally occurring plant constituents such as glycyrrhizin, flavonoids and glabridin and has a long history of inclusion in traditional preparations. It remains a widely recognised botanical ingredient used in cosmetic formulations.
Combined in a water-soluble extract, Kakadu plum and liquorice root form a botanical complex derived from fruit and root sources. This pairing brings together two plant materials in a format suitable for incorporation into water-based cosmetic formulations.
Recommended for use below 50°C to preserve the integrity of its delicate actives.
