Our organically grown UK Reishi mushroom powder is a finely milled cosmetic ingredient valued for its naturally occurring polysaccharides, including beta-glucans, which help support skin hydration and conditioning. Traditionally respected for its skin-supportive properties, reishi is well suited to formulations focused on maintaining skin comfort and resilience. Its fine texture allows for smooth incorporation into both powder and solid formats.

The Powder is particularly suitable for powder-to-foam cleansers, cleansing bars, and shampoo bars, where it integrates easily into dry systems. It disperses well upon contact with water, making it ideal for water-activated formulations. It also performs beautifully in powder face masks, contributing to gentle cleansing and skin-conditioning benefits.

Very finely milled, this powder can provide an extremely gentle level of physical exfoliation. The particles are soft and non-abrasive, making them less exfoliating than our coffee powder. This makes it ideal for gentle facial cleansers, sensitive skin formulations, and products designed for frequent use.
